Morning, noon and night
Three random things I learned, or remembered, todayArchive for Uncategorized
Defaulting….
MORNING
Oh dear,
It can be quite difficult keeping up to discipline of learning something new or something forgotten every day.
It’s all to do with time and a list of priorities, I suppose.
I’ll try and get into the swing of things again.
And keep learning at the top of the list.
If its not kept right at the top, its so easy to drift!
Find your dream

NIGHT
Now here’s an interesting site!
Remember what you wanted out of life.
Write down your dream and send it to yourself in the future.
Camels

NOON
A camel’s life expectancy is 50-60 years.
There are two true camels – the Dromedary or Arabian Camel (one hump) and the Bactrian Camel (two humps). They are desert animals. The Dromedary is native to western Asia and east Africa, the Bactrian Camel to central and east Asia.
A Camelid is a camel like animal. These are the Llama, Alpaca, Guanaco and Vicuna, all from South America.
Camels have oval red blood cells unlike other mammals which are round. This shape has an advantage in the dehydrated state.
Emoticons
MORNING
Emoticons
Emoticons typically represent a facial expression and are used chiefly to mark the tone of the preceding sentence or to indicate the writer’s feelings.
Am I the only person in the world not knowing the html for a smiley?
Probably.
Now I know, thanks to this link.
Money rich, Time poor

NOON
For the second time, I heard the phrase “time poor” on TV today.
It seems to be entering our vocabulary at the same time as “work life balance.”
All to do with working mothers, participation of the workforce, efficiency, getting fat, messy houses, and the next generation of women not able to knit or cook, I suppose.
I have been “time poor” all of my life!
And I don’t think my daughters can knit!
It’s difficult to change.
Guilt……
